Food and Health

Food is necessary to our body for growth,repair,maintenance and well functioning  of its various organs. Food must be really food and not just something to be sallowed into stomach. We can build a healthy body only when we understand that why we eat and what we eat. It must be easily digestible,observed and assimilated. The composition of our food should be capable of cell growth,maintenance, repair and proper functioning.  Materials, such as mineral salts and water are essential for nullifying the waste acidic particles.                                                                                                                                             Food can be categorised in following four groups mainly proteins, fats,  carbohydrates, minerals and water.  All those substances, which are essential to bodily health and vigour generally known as Proteins. Sources of proteins are milk, cheese , nuts, almonds and coconut etc.                                                    Second type of food elements are hydrocarbons .  These are bodywarmers and protectors known as fats and oils.  Main sources are butter, lard, Nuts, olive and coconut oils etc.    Another group of food elements is called carbohydrates- supplier of energy to cells. These are available in abundance in honey, suger dried fruits, cereals ,wheat ,maize,rice etc.                                                         Fourth group of our food comprises purifying foods or mineral salts.  These are found in uncooked  and fresh fruits in natural state.  Mineral salts evaporate when food is cooked.Mineral salts neutralise and eleminate acidic waste materials So we should eat sufficient fruits and raw vegetables such as lemon,orange, grapes ,Barries, tomatoes apples, pears, peaches apricots cabbage carrots turnips, beans cucumber etc.                                                                                                                                       Water is two-third of human body shows the necessity of water for body.We should drink  water in large quantity as per requirement of our body.
